JMRF Paediatric Fellowship Program
Aims & Objective: The fellow will be exposed to a variety of paediatric cases. The work will involve assisting in operating rooms and limited operating under supervision in one of the largest tertiary care center located in the commercial capital Mumbai.
Supervising Consultants:
Dr Ashok Johari: Paediatric Orthopedics Sr Consultant
Tenure: 1 year
Minimum Requirement: Must have passed qualifying exam either MS or D Orth. Additional experience Paediatric unit will be a plus.
Stipend: 25000 RS Per month Consolidated plus a bachelor accomodation.

Spine and Joint replacement Fellowship Program @ Apollo Hospital
Aims & Objective: The fellow will be exposed to a variety of spine and joint replacement cases. The work will involve assisting in operating rooms and limited operating under supervision in one of the largest tertiary care center located in the capital city Delhi. Responsibility of patient care, meticulous documentation and developing clinical acumen will also be key elements.
Research Component: Research and publications are encouraged. The fellow is expected to be actively involved in data collection, analysis and audits. Fellows will be trained in skills of scientific writing and would be encouraged to write atl east two publications during their tenure as fellow.

Tenure: 6 mths to 1 year

Hiranandani Orthopaedic Medical Education (HOME) Fellowships
Funded by Hiranandani Orthopaedic Medical Education (HOME)
Hiranandani Orthopaedic Medical Education (HOME) is a department that is dedicated to the field of clinical research in Orthopaedics. HOME is working on a number of projects related to clinical research in adult hip and knee surgery. HOME conducted its first workshop on scientific publication (WOSP) in December 2009, in collaboration with the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery (British Volume). A number of scientific meetings have also been planned for the future.
Research Fellowships, in adult hip and knee surgery, are offered by HOME. The tenure is for six months initially and extendable for a year. The Research Fellow will be a full-time research assistant with dedicated sessions for literature search, data entry, and management of a newly developed software calledSwingSmart™. Bachelor accommodation and stipend are offered to the Fellow.
The Research Fellow will be responsible for carrying out and completing the projects. The Fellow will be supervised by the two full-time consultant orthopaedic surgeons. There are targets and deadlines for the projects. The Fellow is expected to present the papers in national and international conferences.
HOME is a collaborative effort of the management of the Dr LH Hiranandani Hospital (Powai, Mumbai, India) and the Department of Orthopaedics, which recognise the immense need for research in India. HOME has plans to collaborate with some of the very prominent and popular research centers and personalities in the world. The ultimate goal is to share what we are learning, compare results, collaborate on promising treatments, and disseminate this important information to the orthopaedic community at large.
Fellowship: All aspects of adult hip and knee surgery
Eligibility:
1. Age limit of fellows: 40 years
2. Postgraduate degree in orthopaedics and traumatology in their respective country
3. A minimum experience (after qualifying degree) of three years in general orthopaedics
4. Recommendation letter from the local teaching orthopaedic faculty
5. SICOT membership
Date of commencement for international candidates: 1 March and 1 September of each year
Deadline for applications:
1. 31 December (for posts commencing in March)
2. 30 June (for posts commencing in September)

Aims & Objective:
The fellow will be exposed to primary, complex and revision joint replacement surgeries. Fellow will also be involved in planning, assisting surgeries and postoperative care of the patients. We are one of the largest joint replacement centers in India and there will be ample of opportunities for a fellow to develop surgical skills in a professional manner.
Research Component:
The fellow will be given a research topic in the beginning of the program and will have to produce one scientific publication every six month. Fellow will also be trained in data collection, analysis, statistics, publications and presentation skills.

Must have passed qualifying exam either MS or DNB Orthopaedics. Fellow should also have MCI or State Medical Council Registration
